Employment remained uncertain as of Friday for a Ball State University professor who faces multiple misdemeanor charges after he was arrested in his home, Tony Proudfoot, vice president of marketing and communications, said.

George Mundrake, associate professor of information systems and operations management, remains on a non-disciplinary, paid suspension after he was arrested April 26, Proudfoot said.

After more than 120 years of publication, The Mirage's 2008 volume will be its last, joining other college yearbooks like Purdue University's The Debris, which will also be producing its final edition this year.

At first, they thought Eric was deaf.

"When he was a toddler and he wasn't talking," remembers brother Trent Dilts, a junior at IUPUI, "we knew something was wrong. We just didn't know what."

Dilts, older by three years, has memories of playing quietly on the doctor's office floor with Eric while the specialist explained what was really wrong.
