This spring, the University has planned many exciting changes that they believe to be great improvements to our wonderful campus. Though the changes may seem small and mundane to you, the University hopes that these planned adjustments will help lure new students to campus and make the world a safer place to live in.

Spring time is here and in a few short weeks another senior class will graduate from Ohio State. Many seniors use these last few weeks before graduation to wrap up many important things: term papers, finally sealing the deal with that freshman you met at McFadden's teen night and thesis projects.

Master James Beasley reclined in a booth in Perkins Restaurant & Bakery and sipped on lemonade on a cool and lazy Sunday in April. Beasley, the instructor of the UC Martial Arts Club, sported a navy blue jacket with the Olympic logo on the sleeve. Underneath the colorful linked circles were the words "Tae Kwon Do 2008.

The Progress has a confession to make. We try to dupe ourselves with a concoction of dementia and denial and believe our poignant articles are the main focus of students on campus who read the paper.
But really, who are we kidding?
The confession is simple: Police Beat is the most popular segment in the newspaper on a weekly basis.

Dear Scorch,
So I went to the Illinois Institute of Technology's "Sausagefest 2008" on April 18 as advertised in this publication and I totally want my money back.
I guess this whole festival was for some charity for leukemia and lymphoma or something, but like, if you're going to throw something called "Sausagefest," you've really got to make clear the type of "sausage" that's going to be available.

Onur Demir has a lot in common with other Western students his age. He's involved with Greek organizations, loves to travel and can often be spotted eating lunch at the Garrett Food Court. In many ways, Demir is just like any other freshman. But one thing that sets him apart, is that he's one of only about 10 students who call the Republic of Turkey home.

I don't remember who spoke at my graduation. It's not that he/she was so forgettable, though I'm sure he/she was. I didn't go. I do remember, though, the previous year, when the graduating class president sniffed publicly that the speaker was good enough for Purdue maybe, but not Notre Dame.

Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull
May 22
After almost 20 years in development hell, the fourth Indiana Jones movie, "Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull," is finally being released.
Fans of the original trilogy of archeologist-action-hero adventures might question the film's star himself, given the fact that Harrison Ford is no spring chicken.
